Marcel and Camila are an exceptional team! We were living out of town while they painted our new house. They were dependable and trustworthy. They sent pictures all along the process. They are perfectionists and did an absolute amazing job! They have multiple skills and contacts for every thing you could possibly want done! They were willing to fix even the damage done from moving in. They gave us multiple walk throughs to make sure we were happy with everything. And they were fairly priced. A few weeks ago, my wife and I decided to put our home on the market. It needed both interior and exterior painting to make it look good. We used MEC Painting. They came quickly and did a great job. Marcelo and his crew went above and beyond the expected when they painted our home   It is over 110 years old and had a lot of quirky problems. Marcelo had vast knowledge of how to deal with every problem it presented and used about 7 different kinds of paints to assure that each surface would hold up over time. He was meticulous in fixing every little smudge or drop of paint that was out of place. These guys are very professional. Camila & her husband Marcelo were awesome and easy to work with. You are working here with the REAL OWNERS and not just a commissioned salesmen. They took the time to listen and make many helpful recommendations to make the job even better.

CUT TO THE BOTTOM-LINE:  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!  MEC was great to work with and they did an Excellent job for us! I could not be more pleased! I got a fair & honest price. THEY WILL WORK WITH YOU and your budget. You will get what you pay for with them. They did not cut corners. No regrets!

PRICE: I got 7 bids for my job. One from a "el cheapo" slam bam bid, to a couple of WAY over-the-top price gougers. MEC was right in the middle and matched a comparable company BUT they also offered me a BETTER DEAL by offering to use higher quality paints & prep materials (top-of-the-line PREMIUM Sherwin-Williams products). WIN-WIN.

In our agreed on contract and terms, I SPELLED OUT CLEARLY ON PAPER EXACTLY what my expectations were. This included the exact premium Sherwin Williams quality paint, primer & caulk products that I wanted to be used on my job.

Taking this extra time to spell out all the details with my expectations and materials to be used, numbering 1,2,3…etc. (which I do with all my contractors), helped us both out immensely so we were both on the SAME PAGE throughout the whole job. No quibbles of "we didn't included that in our bid or that that was not included" that sometimes happens at the end. Not here. Everything was clearly spelled out for both of us.

Now my paint job was on an old 1890 house that had TONS & TONS of prep work required. Loads of pealing layers of old paint to scrape, power wash & remove plus cracks to fill. It was a big job but it now looks new!

OVERALL: Great job MEC! If you are getting other painter bids, you can stop here and stop wasting your time looking elsewhere. I could not be more pleased! You can Trust these guys.  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. *****5-STARS.
